N-DECLINATION

Functions

To the n-declination belong:
- all masculine nouns that end in –e (der Neffe, der Russe, der Affe);
- all masculine nouns of the Latin and Greek origin that end in –and, -ant, -ent, -ist, -oge, -at (der Elefant, der Student,
der Psychologe) and some other (der Philosoph, der Architekt, der Fotograf);
- some other masculine nouns that express a living beeing (der Mensch, der Herr, der Nachbar).
